Release on Temporary Licence
Release on Temporary Licence (RoTL) provides prisoners with the opportunity to go out to work within the community.
It helps to prepare them for release and resettlement.
Supporting RoTL
A prisoner who has been approved for working RoTL is able to leave the prison during the day to go to work, returning at the end of their shift.
People who qualify for this privilege are subject to a thorough risk assessment to ensure their suitability for the scheme.
We are always on the look-out for new RoTL opportunities to both strengthen links with the local community and to maximise the rehabilitative support we can offer to prisoners.
If you would like to find out more about how you might be able to support RoTL placements, please contact nicola.gore@sodexogov.co.uk or kenneth.wood@sodexogov.co.uk
